ENCOURAGEMENT – 7/9/20

Some good news is that our website at rrpca.org is working again.  Web.com finally got us back up on the web !  So you can find sermons preached, a tab  called “Giving to RRPC” for giving tithes and offerings to the church, and other information about our church, on-line.

By the way, if you want to reach me, use nsuffern@gmail.com or 518-932-1967.

This Sunday we continue our walk through 2 Timothy considering how disciples finish well, our of 2 Tim. 4:6-8, and a sermon out of 2 Samuel 5 in the evening along with some great hymns in the evening.

Our Sunday School class at 9:30 a.m. this Sunday will focus on “Lessons of Loneliness”, and may be relevant to some of you as you have experienced loneliness since Covid-19 arrived in March.  On July 26 our brother elder, Ken Burl, will begin a series out of Philippians.  I am looking forward to it, as it is one of my favorite books in the Bible!

Take this passage into your heart and meditate on it, asking for the Holy Spirit to teach you.“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything,  by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” – Philippians 4:6, 7.Here is another Getty Family Hymn Sing!   Hope it is a blessing to you!  There is some beautiful accompaniment by guitar, accordion and harmonica.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAGPkCDjZ7g
It includes the beloved hymn, “This Is My Father’s World”.
Sincerely, Pastor Ned
